Motorola Mobility just revealed the Motorola Droid Razr and the MotoACTV.
The Motorola Droid Razr is a LTE device and it is previously known as the Droid HD or Spyder. It comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. It has only 7.1mm thin, making the Droid Razr one of the thinnest Android smartphone available in the market, even thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S II. Other specs include a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and supports 1080p video recording, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and GPS. The Droid Razr is running on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread).
Motorola spends extra effort in making the smartphone more rugged by providing a Kevlar back cover and Motorola Splash Guard. The Motorola Splash Guard is a nano coating developed by Motorola to protect hardware from splashes.
Motorola also introduces Smart Action, which is a power management tool that optimizes the smartphone’s battery life automatically. It is smart enough to help the user to turn off Bluetooth and GPS whenever the phone is connected to the user's home WiFi.
Plus, there is an online cloud service called MotoCast, which allows the user to share documents, photos and videos over the Internet to any devices, including PC and tablet.
The Motorola Droid Razr is priced at $299.99 (approx. RM 940) on two years contract with Verizon Wireless.
MotoACTV is a small square electronic device which looks similarly to Apple iPod Nano and Sony Ericsson LiveView. The MotoACTV can acts as your MP3 player and fitness tracker. It comes with a Bluetooth headset that is able to track your heart rate. Both your health status and workout activities are automatically synced to the cloud via WiFi. It could hook up with compatible phones to accept or reject calls and send SMS. The coolest thing about the MotoACTV is you get to wear like a watch.
The MotoACTV is priced at $249 (approx. RM 780) for 8GB and $299 (approx. RM 940) for 16GB.
