BlackBerry Torch 9860 are among the five BlackBerry devices that RIM announced. The BlackBerry Torch 9850 and 9860 are basically the same device except that the Torch 9850 is the CDMA variant, while the Torch 9860 is the GSM variant
In addition, it will be running on the latest BlackBerry OS 7, featuring improved hardware acceleration, faster web-browsing, voice-activated Universal Search and BlackBerry Balance. Connectivity-wise, it supports HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash for quick shots or recording. Plus, it has a 4GB on board internal storage and a microSD card slot.
The BlackBerry Torch 9860 would be expected to launch in September in the US and most European countries, but no words on local launch yet.
