There is a quick and easy way to remove or uninstall apps on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 without going the Application settings. 

1. Tap on Apps icon on the top right of the screen

2. Tap and hold on any apps you wish to remove (Note: Some preinstalled apps could not be removed. Eg: Camera)
 

3. Drag the icon of the app to the red remove bin (alternatively, you drag it to the "i" sign that takes you to application info.

4. Tap OK
