The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 allows to setup the proxy settings right out from the box. To tweak the proxy settings: 

1. Hit Settings

 

2. Go to Wireless and Networks

 

3. Select Wi-Fi Settings

 

4. Tap and hold on your connected network

5. Tap on Modify Network Config.

 

6. Under Proxy Settings , tap on the drop-down box and select manual

7. Fill in the details such as Hostname , Proxy Port and No Proxy for

 

8. Hit Save
