 The Sony Cybershot DSC W580 is a pocket camera with a good range of features. Despite having some extra features over an above a more basic point and shoot model the Cybershot DSC W580 remains easy to use. 

This camera is aimed at someone who enjoys taking photos, but does not want to get involved in all the technical aspects that are available on the most advanced digital cameras. 

Three features that are currently more or less standard on this type of camera are High Definition movies, image stabilisation and a 3 inch LCD screen. The Sony Cybershot DSC W580 has these three features. It also has a wide angle lens. 

Features on other Sony digital cameras, but not so easy to find elsewhere include sweep panorama and PMB Portable Software. The sweep panorama feature allows you to create panoramic shots by pressing down the shutter button and panning round in an arc. The PMB Portable Software makes it easy to attach the camera to a computer that is connected to the Internet to enable you to upload photos to picture sharing websites.
